SMS Plugin Instructions:
Installing the plugin:
- Download the plugin in your browser: http://smsplugin-1.1.apk
- Go to the “downloads” folder and tap on the file smsPlugin.apk
- On current versions of Android, a warning dialogue may be shown: “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source”
- Tap on the settings option in the dialogue
- Tap on “Allow from this source”
- Press back
- A new dialogue should now be shown: “Do you want to install this application?”
- Tap the “Install” option on the dialogue
Setting up the app:
- Open the SMS plugin app
- Accept the permission request to Send SMS messages
- Open the main Gateway app and change the setting “Save to Drafts” to OFF
Congratulations you are now ready to send messages automatically!
For older versions of Android: The instructions for “Side Loading” apps vary greatly depending on the version of Android that your device is running
However, on older devices installing non market apps was typically done by: Settings -> Secuirty -> Non Market Apps ON Settings -> Security -> Untrusted Sources ON [Wording used by Google] Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources ON
