The Applications are designed to manage, filter, and enhance your communications, including:

Users assume all risks of exposing private information through these features.

Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use Disclosure

Maxlab Applications’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

Information Collection & Use

Our Applications are software that allows users to integrate and manage their online communications, including email and other types of text messaging. Each user chooses which online accounts he or she wishes to access using the Application.

When you set up any of the Applications to access your email account, you will need to enter information and credentials for that account, such as your name, email address, and password — or, in the case of Gmail, authorize access via Google OAuth 2.0. The Applications store this information on your mobile device.

In addition to your credentials, the Applications need certain non-personal, technical information from your account providers to configure each email account you use. The Applications store other information on your mobile device, including copies of your email messages. The Applications store this information locally on your mobile device and do not transmit it except to accessories such as smartwatches and other connected devices.

The Applications attempt to make a direct local connection from your mobile device to your remote mail server. The processing of mail retrieved from your remote mail server is performed locally on the device. The user must ensure that the network, mail server, and device are secure.

The Applications store private information in a local database. The information is required to implement features including but not limited to: notifications, commands, message viewing, and history. The information includes, but is not limited to: senders, recipients, subjects, and message contents. Information judged to be private is usually encrypted by us; however, encryption is not guaranteed. We do not guarantee the quality or reliability of any encryption used within the Applications. It is the user’s responsibility to encrypt their Android device. The Android device can typically be encrypted from the device’s security settings or with third-party software. It is also the user’s responsibility to ensure that all data — whether encrypted or not — is kept locally and that the device is kept in their possession.

Use of Google User Data

When you connect a Gmail account to our Applications, we access your Google user data solely to provide the core functionality you have requested. Specifically, Google user data (including email metadata such as sender, recipient, subject, timestamp, labels, and message body) is used to:

All processing of Google user data occurs locally on your device. We do not transmit Google user data to YOONKA LIMITED servers. We do not use your Google user data for advertising, profiling, selling, or training AI/ML models, or for any purpose unrelated to the Applications’ core functionality.

Sharing and Disclosure of Google User Data

We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

We do not share Google user data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or any other third parties. Google user data is never transmitted to YOONKA LIMITED servers as part of normal Application operation.

Data Protection Mechanisms

We implement the following safeguards to protect Google user data and other sensitive information:

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Google user data is stored only on your device, you have full control over its retention and deletion:

Log Data

Our Applications collect logging data on the device to allow users to diagnose problems with the apps. The logs may be stored in memory and/or on the SD card depending on the app’s settings. Message details may be contained in the logs.

We do not typically store logging data on our servers; however, you may send logs to YOONKA LIMITED by selecting the email option on the View Logs page within the Applications. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the logs sent to us do not contain any private information they do not wish to share. Logs that you send to us may be stored on our servers to help diagnose your issue and to improve the Applications in the future.

The user must ensure that logs are removed when no longer needed. Additionally, logs may be stored on the SD card. The user is responsible for encrypting the SD card. On most Android devices, the SD card can be encrypted from the device’s security settings or with third-party software.

Features That Reveal Information

Our Applications may reveal message details through the following features:

Some Applications are capable of reading text-to-speech alerts. Text-to-speech functionality may directly reveal private information to anyone within hearing distance of your device.

Some Applications are capable of displaying sensitive information on your lock screen.

Some Applications are capable of recording custom alert sounds.

The Applications may include additional features that expose sensitive or private information.

Consequences of Use

The loss of privacy resulting from Applications’ alerts could have unwanted social consequences including but not limited to: loss of employment or a financial opportunity, loss of relationships or marriage, personal embarrassment or humiliation, loss of reputation, arrest, and incarceration.

Additionally, do not use the Applications if you have a heart condition or other medical condition that could be aggravated by unexpected alert sounds.

The Applications’ purpose is to reveal email and SMS information via notifications. As such, the Applications will inevitably reveal private information. Users should assess for themselves whether they wish to use any of the Applications.

Communications

We do not use information that you enter into any of the Applications to contact you. The information is stored locally on your device, so we normally have no way to initiate contact with you.

To contact us, please use the support address:

📧 support@maxlabmobile.com

We sometimes communicate with users via review comments on Google Play at our discretion. However, these comments are not typically monitored unless a new version of the app has recently been released. Please use the support email address; otherwise it may be many months before you receive a reply.

We also monitor our support group at https://groups.google.com/g/support-maxlabmobile for community assistance where help may be provided more quickly.

Children’s Privacy

The Applications are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 23 March 2017 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time, and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of any of our Applications after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the changes on our website maxlabmobile.com and/or on Google Play.
